WELCOME

If you have an interest in the German Shepherd Dog, you have come to the right place. Our members are owners, breeders, trainers, and most of all, fans of this most versatile of breeds.

Our members take part in a wide variety of activities, from showing, to herding, to obedience, agility, schutzhund, therapy work , hiking -- and there are even a number of k-9 couch potatoes!

The German Shepherd Dog Club of Oregon holds specialty dog shows, obedience trials, and assorted other events of interest to the membership.

Our meetings are open to the public. If you are looking to learn about the breed, learn about dog shows, or just find someone to talk "dog" with, come join us! Our meetings and events are held in the Portland metro area.

    Karen, Ruth, Chris, Jim P, Jim B, Don, Patty, Barb, Connie, Kevin, Rick, Cynthia, Kristina, Jo, Kathy, Randy, Terry, Sally, Betty, Shar and everyone else who pitched in to make the shows and trials successful.

    Weeks of rain and miserable conditions - but we made the back-to-back weekends run smoothly and had lots of successful entries, new titles, points, legs and even had some new comers try the sport.

    And THANK YOU to everyone who entered. We can't have a show without you.
